In our concession, we are known for having both a very high bear density and some very large bears. Each year, we look to harvest only a few old mature bears. To us, here at Yukon Peak Outfitters, taking out our most mature bears helps keep our moose and caribou numbers in shape. With our limited number of bear hunts each year, we strongly encourage our hunters to book these in advance as most tags are gone prior to season. It is only a rare opportunity for hunters to add a Grizzly on by paying a trophy fee.

Combo Hunts
In addition to trophy grizzly hunts, this outfitter also offers four 14-day combination hunts for Dall Sheep and/or Moose. The Alaska Yukon Moose, are in abundance in this area and the trophy quality is exceptional with top end bulls pushing 70 inch and 60 inch plus being the norm, and Dall sheep rams can push up to 40 inches. This is one of the top trophy areas in North America and makes for an exceptional combo hunt for anyone looking to maximize their time in the bush.
Camps
Due to size of this hunt region, we offer remote tented camps as well as base camp cabins in a variety of locations. Annually we are cutting new trails and opening up areas that have never been hunted before. We estimate that approximately 1/3 of this hunt area has never been hunted before with no trails, air strips or access.
Reservations
Whether you’re looking for a single species grizzly hunt or combination sheep or moose hunt, this is an awesome opportunity. Due to the limited numberof hunters annually, reservations are typically required well in advance.
